Learn more about the systemic benefits peer advisory has on small businesses and the greater community. Curt Bear, LoCo Founder, speaks on the core functionality and principles behind peer advisory for all with your group.
Curt enjoys spending time on stages before audiences of all sizes - a passion that was developed as a volunteer event emcee for various non-profit causes. (which he remains available for!) Curt's rich tone and range are easy for audiences to hear, and his quick wit and easy smile are sure to get laughs. Some stories will bring the audience to tears of joy. Curt has developed three primary stage presentations, each of which is designed for different audience sizes and types, and which can be adapted for time availability:
SPARK - A practical and collaborative approach toward co-creating stronger and kinder communities. This presentation is for community groups (service clubs, schools, and like-minded conferences) and events. The audience will receive a link for a free download - The LoCo Community Conversation Field Kit. This mini-course in group design and meeting facilitation unfolds the LoCo way for issue/opportunity processing and adapts it for use in topical conversations that affect the community.
FLOATS - This is an audience-engaged presentation designed for groups of small business owners from 10 to 50 or more. Audience members receive printed materials where they give themselves a self-exam on their business enterprise. In the areas of Financial, Leadership, Operations, Administrative, Technology, and Sales - where are you today, and where are you going? Curt shares stories of perspective gathering and successful progress, and especially helps young business owners understand which parts of their enterprise might need the most attention next.
The LoCo Think Tank Story
- An inspiring story told most often over coffee or in podcast interviews - but adaptable for any audience - the Story of LoCo Think Tank is increasingly a happy-ending story of perseverance, community support, engagement, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The story encompasses career transition, necessity forced change, overcoming small business challenges and decisions, family balance, and ultimately, finding purpose.
